Health and Safety Policy

The Management of the Company bears executive responsibility for the health and safety of its employees and is committed to taking all necessary actions to continuously improve working conditions and Occupational Health and Safety performance, ensuring the protection of the life, health and well-being of all employees, including subcontractors, suppliers, visitors and any third parties entering the Company’s premises, in accordance with the applicable requirements of Greek and European legislation. 

The health and safety of employees and associates has always been, and will continue to be, a primary concern of the Company’s Management. 

In order to implement and maintain its Health and Safety Policy, the Company provides the appropriate resources, both in terms of human resources and equipment, and employs suitably qualified and competent personnel with the necessary knowledge, expertise and understanding at all levels of the organization. 

Management provides all necessary means for the training and awareness of personnel on Health and Safety matters, ensures the appropriate allocation of responsibilities within the Company, and encourages the active participation of all employees in minimizing unsafe acts and working conditions. In this way, every employee involved in the Company’s activities is expected to contribute, both individually and collectively, to the continuous improvement of the working environment. 

The Company’s ultimate objective is to carry out all activities to the highest standards of quality and within the required timeframes, without accidents or incidents that could adversely affect human health. 

Protecting the health and safety of employees, reducing and eliminating identified occupational hazards, and preventing work-related injuries and illnesses are primarily the responsibility of Management, but also require the active participation and commitment of everyone involved in the Company’s activities. 

The Company’s Health and Safety Policy and objectives shall be implemented by all employees at every level of the organization. By recognizing and addressing the specific hazards associated with their respective workplaces and activities, all employees shall contribute to the continual improvement of the performance of the Health and Safety Management System. 

Management is fully committed to this continual improvement and undertakes to provide all necessary resources to support the effective implementation, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the Health and Safety Management System.
