The School of Life Sciences of Aegean College, held a workshop on Wednesday 18 October 2023, as part of the Royal Society of Biology‘s Biology Week, on the topic: “STEM & Bioeconomy in Action – The BioBeo Project” in collaboration with the Hellenic STEM Educational Association (E3STEM).
In the workshop, students had the opportunity to discuss Bioeconomy issues, complete questionnaires and attend presentations on STEM educational applications that have been implemented in the European BioBeo Project.
In addition, students tried to propose solutions to various challenges of the Bio-Economy by playing the board game “Resource Don’t Go”.
The workshop was hosted by Dr. Paraskevi Theodorou and Marilena Andrikopoulou, members of E3STEM.
Participants have also received a certificate of participation.
Aegean College as a member of the Royal Society of Biology, gives one year’s free membership of the RSB to students who are in their final year of study.
