Aegean College participated once again as a sponsor in the 17th Maritime Economies Conference, which took place at the War Museum on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Students from the School of Maritime Studies, accompanied by their professors, had the opportunity to attend this year’s conference, which focused on the theme “Bridging the Shipping Industry with Capital Markets.”

The purpose of the educational visit was to provide information on bridging the gap between the shipping industry and capital markets, with a focus on the benefits of raising capital through stock exchanges and understanding the processes of listing companies on the stock market.

Finally, a greeting was also delivered by the European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, Apostolos Tzitzikostas.
