Significant distinction for the CBT programme
The 51st Congress of European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT 2022) took place on 7-10 September 2022 in Barcelona, Spain.
The topics discussed were:
- Training and supervision in CBT,
- The application of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy in adults,
- Model-based assessment of children and adolescents,
- The present practices and future of CBT.
Aegean College participated in the conference by presenting a published paper on “Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy In A Patient With Fibromyalgia”.
Representatives of the College were Angeliki Sarri, a graduate of the MSc CBT with Counselling Skills and the Academic Head of the Programme Dr. Markella Fiste.
The paper concerned the application of CBT tools and practices to patients with organic disease, depressive and anxiety symptoms.
