Aegean College continues its outstanding performance in the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings, one of the world’s most significant international evaluation frameworks assessing the contribution of higher education institutions towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year’s recognition holds particular significance, as Aegean College improved its national ranking, achieving 7th place in Greece, while also recording a rise of 200 positions in the overall global ranking of the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings. This achievement reflects the College’s substantial progress and its continuously growing international recognition.
More than 1,600 institutions from 116 countries were evaluated in terms of their commitment to sustainable development and social impact, with Aegean College achieving significant improvements both in individual assessment criteria and in the overall ranking. This progress is the result of a series of initiatives and actions implemented throughout 2025, focusing on Sustainable Development, environmental protection, the elimination of social and gender inequalities, and the provision of equal and inclusive education opportunities.
