I had the opportunity to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management programme at Aegean College in Athens, Greece. My experience in studying towards a UK degree in the city where philosophy and democracy was born, the city of Athens, was a unique opportunity. I was able to receive a UK education in the English language while experiencing the hospitality, climate and culture of Greece. I was especially fortunate to be in Athens in 2004 when Greece welcomed home the Olympic Games which began, more than 2000 years ago and were reborn in Athens in 1896. My education was enriched and became more meaningful as I walked around the city of Athens, and suddenly found myself on Achilles Street or Socrates Street, in memory of great men and a great civilization. The country, the people I met at the College and the educational opportunity I received has deepened my international business knowledge and skills for which I am thankful.
