Aegean's College significant presence at the 14th National Congress of nurses, midwives.

Aegean's College dynamic presence at Congress.

Aegean College proved why it is the top College at studying Obstetrics with its presence at the 14th National Congress of nurses, midwives, held in October  4th -7th,2018 in Athens entitled “The Philosophy of Birth and the ethical principles in the Obstetric Care.”

It was the only college that participated in the event.

Saturday October 6th, 2018, the Director of the Division of Obstetrics College, Mr. Michael Moros, held a lecture on “The trauma of birth” in the context of the scientific programme of the Conference.

The same day, Mr. John Zervas (Athens University Professor of Psychiatry, psychiatric clinic, Eginition hospital, keynote speaker of Aegean College) talked about the “Role of the psychiatrist in perinatal care” and made special mention in the new innovative postgraduate MSc program data in Perinatal Mental Health (MA in Perinatal mental health).

The two speeches met with great response from the audience that had flooded the room, as demonstrated by the questions asked and the interesting discussions that followed.

In tandem with the presence of academic and administrative executives, senior students Angelica-Constantina Buna and Maria Eleftheriadis made oral announcements with the theme “Assessment of overall experience of women who gave birth by caesarean section in Greece at the time 2007-2017” and “Correlation between female sexual arousal dysfunction, insomnia and state-trait anxiety in women between 20 to 60 years old».

Mrs Stamatia Fatsi -senior student-posted an announcement on communication entitled “effect of vasomotor disturbances of menopause on women’s health.”
