Patrick Karantinos

Mindfulness and Meditation Instructor

Patrick Karantinos has been practicing Mindfulness, Meditation, Taichi Chuan, and Qi Gong, for more than 20 years and teaching for more than 10. As a Taichi practitioner he has won numerous medals in National, European, and International tournaments. He has been a Taichi instructor at SNFCC (Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center), since 2017, was a Mindfulness and Qi Gong Instructor at ‘Forever Living’ in 2017–2018 and was a freelance Taichi Chuan instructor at ACS Athens in 2017–2018, where after being singled out by the former president Dr. Stephanos Gialamas for his knowledge and teaching abilities, he was hired as a Mindfulness Program Coordinator.

During his time there, he created and taught the course ‘Body-Mind-Balance’ for unattended refugee minors participating in the full-time ‘Youth to Youth’ scholarship program. He also integrated Mindfulness and Taichi practices and principles in administrative leadership retreats, co-created and co-taught the ‘Equilibrium’ leadership course, taught Mindfulness at Elementary, Middle, and High school students both in classrooms and one on ones.

During the first lockdown, he carried on teaching mindfulness and Qigong to students, teachers as well as parents and caregivers. Since 2022 he has been teaching the course he created on Mindfulness and Meditation at the Hellenic American College in Athens and given 3 workshops on Mindfulness and Meditation. He is also a Taichi instructor at the Athens College as of this year and has been teaching privately Meditation, Mindfulness, Qigong and Taichi through his company ‘Karantinos Personal Training’.
