Aegean College has become member of Advance HE, the UK’s global institution, whose members are leading Higher Education Institutions such as the University of Essex and the Russell Group Universities such as the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, etc.
Advance HE strategic goals is to enhance confidence and trust in Higher Education, address systemic inequalities and advance education to meet the evolving needs of students and society, supports the work of members institutions and the HE sector.
Advance HE as experts in higher education have a particular focus on enhancing teaching and learning, effective governance, leadership development and tackling inequalities through equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) work.
Advance HE deliver support through professional development programmes and events, Fellowships, awards, student surveys, providing strategic change and consultancy services and through membership (including accreditation of teaching and learning, equality charters, research, knowledge and resources).
Using their expertise and sharing best practice, Advance HE work with a large network of global associates and partners, and with people, providers and systems around the world to understand contexts and challenges, and deliver solutions.
Via the member projects, Advance HE provides the opportunity for members to collaborate with each other on themes such as flexible learning, leadership and student success.
